Invasive Non-Native Species (INNS) fish eDNA surveys

BUG has been supporting Wessex Water in an INNS fish screening programme at 16 of their reservoir sites, processing and analysing a total of 50 eDNA samples.

BUG provided sampling kits and instructions to Wessex Water field scientists, who undertook the surveys, providing the filtered samples to BUG for processing and analysis.

Our sampling kits are put together in a sterile environment and contain everything you need to collect eDNA samples, including full user-friendly instructions.
